Christopher R. Lambert was born and raised in Utica, NY, attended Proctor High School, and graduated from Utica College of Syracuse University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Accounting. Upon graduation, Christopher started working as a staff accountant for Vincent A. Mazzei, a Licensed Public Accountant that practiced in the Utica area since 1949. During this time Christopher worked endless hours learning everything he possibly could about the various Federal and state tax codes / regulations, while mastering the art of tax planning and preparation. When Mr. Mazzei passed away in 2006, Christopher made the decision to carry on Mr. Mazzei's life-long accomplishment of providing superior tax and accounting services. Christopher still uses the much of the training and skills he learned from Mr. Mazzei to this day, representing some of the same clients, and many new ones acquired over the last 25+ years. Christopher takes his client needs very seriously, and always represents everyone in a professional manner. Furthermore, he always respects and protects the confidential nature of client financial information.
His areas of specialization include personal, business, and estate tax preparation and planning, and federal and state audit representation (income tax, sales tax, and estate tax). In addition, Christopher also provides business planning / succession, and estate planning services. "My goal is to treat each and every client with the highest degree of professionalism, and to provide them with a superior service at a reasonable price". Christopher works very closely with his clients to properly ensure that they are following all tax laws and filing requirements. This is why many of Christopher?s clients have been working with him for more than 25 years!!! Besides having a Bachelor Degree in Public Accounting, he also is an Enrolled Agent licensed to Practice before the U.S. Treasury Department, and is able to represent clients in every state. He attends many classes and seminars each year related to the ever changing tax laws and is a long standing member of The National Association of Tax Practitioners and the National Society of Accountants. Over the years Christopher has also been involved with many local Not-For-Profit Organizations and has donated the services of his firm. He currently is on the Board of Directors of The Abraham House and is actively involved in monitoring their financial operations. Christopher is also a member of several local fraternal organizations. He is an avid boater and enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family on the Saint Lawrence River. His other hobbies include biking, fishing, and traveling with his family whenever time permits. Christopher is married and has 2 children, and still resides right here in Central New York. His daughter Victoria is currently a full-time student at SUNY POLY, and is majoring in Accounting.
